Whale Watching
December 30 , 2000

Monterey, CA

The boat tour starts from Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. The Monterey Bay offers a habitat to a variety of marine life. On the way out we see Dolphins. A blue whale, the largest animal on earth! Taking a picture is hard because whales dive for 10 -15 minutes at a time. When the whale is ready for another dive, the tail comes out of the water. This one belongs to the blue whale.

Most of the time, whales can be spotted when they blow water from the blow hole. A gray whale near the boat. Sometimes, whales dive up to see what is going on outside.
